Privacy
Last updated: October 13, 2026
Fidel Friends is made for children, so we keep things simple and collect as little as possible.
What we collect
- Grown-up email addresses, only when a parent or guardian signs up for the free chart, the shop waitlist, or sends us a message. We store the email, which form was used and the page it was on, the approximate country the form was sent from (provided by our hosting service), the message (for contact), and the date.
- Nothing from children. The site does not ask children for any personal information. The name preview on the shop page runs only in your browser and is never sent to us.
- Spam protection. To stop abuse of our forms we keep a scrambled (one-way hashed) form of the network address that sent a form, never the address itself, and it is deleted automatically within about a day.
What we don't do
- No advertising trackers, no analytics cookies, no selling or sharing of your information.
- Videos are embedded using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). YouTube's own policies apply when you play a video.
- Our fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which sees your device's network address when it sends the font files, as any website would. No cookies are involved.
How we use your email
To send what you asked for (the chart, shop news, or a reply) and occasional Fidel Friends updates. Every email has an unsubscribe option, or just reply and ask.
Your choices
Ask us anytime to see or delete your information using the contact form. We delete it promptly.
Where data lives
Signups are stored securely with Amazon Web Services in the United States and only Fidel Friends can access them.
Children's privacy (COPPA)
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
